What we collect

• Enquiries: your name, phone, email, vehicle details or rego, and your message.
• Orders: your name, email, phone, delivery address and what you bought.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers.
• Web chat: if you message us through the chat widget, that conversation and your phone number are handled by Podium on our behalf.
• Technical: basic server logs (IP address, pages requested) used for security and to keep the site working.

Why we collect it

• To answer your enquiry and check whether a part fits your vehicle.
• To take payment, pack and ship your order, and handle returns or warranty claims.
• To keep records we are required to keep for tax and consumer law purposes.
• To protect the site from spam and fraud.

Who we share it with

Only the businesses that help us run this shop: Stripe (payments), our email provider, Podium (web chat), and the carriers who deliver your parcel. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies and local browser storage for essentials only - your cart, whether you have dismissed a banner, and admin sign-in. Embedded YouTube videos and the Podium chat widget set their own cookies when they load. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the cart will stop working if you do.

Keeping it safe, and how long we keep it

• Data is held in a secured database; the site is served over HTTPS and admin access is password protected.
• Order records are kept for at least 7 years as required for tax purposes. Enquiries are kept while they are useful for servicing your vehicle, then deleted.
• No system is perfectly secure, but we only keep what we actually need.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email nqsprings@gmail.com or ring (07) 4774 8859.
