Diesel fuel can easily become contaminated with water and micro particles, which significantly reduces fuel quality and can cause serious engine damage. The Safari ARMAX Auxiliary Pre Fuel Filter adds a 30-micron primary filter before the factory fuel filter, ensuring superior protection against fuel contamination. This system delivers industry-leading particle and water separation efficiency, helping to extend engine life and maintain ARMAX performance reliability.
The stock Toyota clutch is robust and well suited to the torque output of the 1VD-FTV engine under standard GVM and power levels. For performance upgrades or increased GVM applications, Safari has engineered a replacement clutch rated to 1100Nm of torque – delivering a 250% increase in torque capacity while retaining stock driveability and pedal feel.
Clean charge air to an engine’s intake is critical for maximising performance and fuel economy. The Safari Oil to Air Separator is designed to remove oil vapour particles from the intake charge, preventing carbon build-up in the intake manifold and keeping critical engine components clean. The result is improved performance, reduced fuel consumption, and greater long-term reliability.
With the popularity of performance upgrades using engine management and larger exhausts, Safari 4×4 Engineering designed a snorkel system that not only raises the air intake to prevent harmful elements entering the air cleaner, but also delivers the necessary volume of air into the engine – maximising performance potential. Huge airflow is just one aspect of this ultimate snorkel design, suitable for the Toyota 70 Series Wide Front LandCruiser (03/2007 onwards, 4.5L Diesel 1VD-FTV). The Safari ARMAX snorkel air ram performs two vital roles: funnelling cool clean air into the snorkel body, and acting as a highly efficient water separator to remove rainwater – ensuring safe engine operation even in torrential storms.
